Storm Drain Cleaning in Portland
Water that cannot get into a Portland site's storm system ponds on the surface and then finds the lowest opening - a loading dock, a basement ramp, a ground-floor doorway.
A high water table around Portland pushes groundwater and sand through any joint that has opened, and sand packs hard in the bottom of a pipe.
We cover Portland in full for this work, from the streets around Hunt Airport out to the edge of the city.
For the full detail on how the work is done — the equipment, the pressures and what we look for on camera — see storm drain cleaning in Texas.
When Portland properties need this
Two or more of these together usually points at the line rather than the fixture you noticed first.
- Storm lines that have never been inspected or cleaned
- Ponding in a car park or yard that drains slowly after rain
- Catch basin grates holding standing water
- Visible silt, gravel or leaf litter filling a basin sump
- Water backing out of an area drain during heavy rain

Storm Drain Cleaning in Portland — questions
What do you need from me before you arrive?
The address, whether it is residential or commercial, which fixtures are affected, whether anything is overflowing right now, and where the cleanout is if you know. That is usually enough for us to bring the right equipment.
Is ZIP 78374 covered for this service?
Yes. 78374 is the main ZIP for Portland and we cover all of it. A Texas ZIP can stretch across more than one community, so we always work from the street address rather than the ZIP alone.
Do you provide storm drain cleaning in Portland?
Yes. Storm Drain Cleaning is available across Portland and the surrounding San Patricio County area, including addresses outside the built-up part of town. Call (833) 349-0333 and describe the problem and we will confirm what the job involves.
Who is responsible for the storm drains on our site?
Private drainage on private property is normally the owner's responsibility up to the municipal connection. Inlets on the public road are usually the city's. Site plans — or a camera inspection — settle it.
Our car park floods every heavy rain. Is cleaning enough?
Sometimes. If the system is silted, clearing it restores the capacity it was designed for. If the site was under-drained from the start or a line has collapsed, cleaning will not be enough, and an inspection will tell you which situation you are in.
Need storm drain cleaning in Portland?
Tell us what the drain is doing and whereabouts in Portland you are. We will tell you whether this is an emergency, a cleaning job, or something that needs a camera down the line first.
