Storm Drain Cleaning in Poetry, Texas
High-pressure storm drain cleaning in Poetry, Texas. We flush what we remove out of the system instead of pushing it further down the line.
Storm Drain Cleaning in Poetry
A blocked storm drain in Poetry always announces itself during the storm, which is the worst possible moment and the hardest time to get anyone out.
Metroplex ground works against buried pipe. Clay expands and contracts with the weather, joints loosen, and roots are into the gap within a season or two.
We cover Poetry in full for this work, from the streets around Dry Creek Cemetery out to the edge of the town.
For the full detail on how the work is done — the equipment, the pressures and what we look for on camera — see storm drain cleaning in Texas.

Storm Drain Cleaning in Poetry — questions
Will it fix the problem permanently?
That depends on why the line clogged. Cleaning removes what is in the pipe; it cannot repair a dropped joint, a collapsed section or a run that holds water. If the camera shows one of those we will tell you, even though cleaning is what we sell.
Do you work out of hours in Poetry?
Yes, the line is answered around the clock. Commercial and kitchen work is often scheduled deliberately overnight or before opening so nothing has to close.
What do you need from me before you arrive?
The address, whether it is residential or commercial, which fixtures are affected, whether anything is overflowing right now, and where the cleanout is if you know. That is usually enough for us to bring the right equipment.
Our car park floods every heavy rain. Is cleaning enough?
Sometimes. If the system is silted, clearing it restores the capacity it was designed for. If the site was under-drained from the start or a line has collapsed, cleaning will not be enough, and an inspection will tell you which situation you are in.
Is storm drain cleaning different from sewer cleaning?
Yes. Storm systems carry surface water and block with silt, sand, leaves and litter rather than grease and waste. They often need higher water volume to move compacted sediment, and the access points are catch basins rather than cleanouts.
